In most cases, you will not be required to apply for planning permission before having new windows fitted. However, planning permission may apply for listed buildings and those within conservation areas.

All our window designs are available with either double or triple glazing.

Double glazing comprises of two panes of glass sealed within a frame. The internal cavity is filled with argon gas and this helps to trap the heat within your home.

Triple glazing is made from three panes of glass. The internal cavities are filled with either argon, xenon or krypton gas. This option offers superior thermal performance and noise reduction.

Yes. Preseli Home Improvements is a FENSA Approved Installer. This means that all our glazing products are backed by a ten-year guarantee. Furthermore, FENSA certification also guarantees that the products we install are energy efficient and registered with your local authority.

Usually, orangeries and conservatories are deemed as ‘permitted developments’ that do not require planning permission. However, if the footprint and height of the structure and proximity to the property boundary exceed ‘permitted development’ specifications then you may need to seek permission before construction commences. Furthermore, if your home is listed or in a conservation area, it is likely you will require planning permission.
